Inclement Weather

Very rarely do we have unplayable conditions at the Clear Lake Golf Course. If the Head Superintendant or Head Professional deem the course unplayable rainchecks (see below) will be issued. Players are responsible to call the proshop to see if the course is open for play.

When golfing and inclement weather is in the area, play will be suspended if deemed unsafe. This will be singled by ONE loud horn sound. At this time, please stop golfing and seek shelter immediately. When play is safe to resume, TWO loud horn sounds will be heard, which at this time you may resume your golf game.

Rain Check Policy

“Rain Out” is defined as an unplayable course, as determined by the Head Superintendent orHead Golf Professional. Rain checks will be issued, only for inclement weather,on a prorated basis (play 6 holes get a rain check for 12 holes). Players are responsible to provide their rain check receipts at the proshop when they wish to use them. Without a rain check receipt there is no record and they will be dismissed.

If they have failed to close the gap by the next hole, they must pick up their balls and proceed to the next tee. The program is necessitated for the enjoyment of all other golfers on the course.
